I'm just a dreamer coming from a little town in Czech mountains, living now in beautiful Denmark.   Since early childhood I simply could not keep away from pencils, colors and whatever left spots on paper, on walls, furniture, doors and everywhere within my reach  ... until finally my parents said enough and sent me into talent school when I was about 11 years old. Art education gave me very important skills for my talent - an understanding of composition, light, shadows, perspective, colors, volume etc - but first and more importantly, it gave me building stones to grow my talent and my love for capturing the ideas and endless imagination running through my head.

I graduated with Master (magister) degree at University in art and literature, art critic and history of art. Having different ateliers for sculpturing, painting, drawing, photography and digital art, as well as  theory  for  plastic anatomy, history of art etc., I became artist on paper. Which actually doesn't mean anything if there is no talent --  being an artist is not some job; being an artist is a destiny! 

As vast as my love is for visual art, my love for animals is comparable.  Consequently, my art is often expressed using animal themes. I have been a dog breeder for more than 30 years. I was always fascinated by the amazing creativity of nature, animals and their special souls. I love my dogs and I love my palettes. I always agreed the eye is a window to soul and all eyes in my paintings have very unique and individual expression. I try to capture the soul of the animals I paint and I am very happy it’s very often noticed by people seeing them. Animals talk through their eyes and I read their eyes. My goal is to bring you the glimpse of an animal’s soul, catch it on the canvas and serve it to everyone who would like to join me on the journey.
