‘‘THE BREEDER’’
Michelangelo's fresco from Sistine Chappel is capturing the moment of God giving life to Adam by finger touch, it’s called ‘The Creation of Adam’ and there came the inspiration.
We as breeders are the creators, we give the life bringing the predictability, preservation, purpose, through our passion and pride. We are the breeders on the background of renaissance aka reborn.
I followed Michelangelo’s work with light and transfered painting into firm lined drawing, following his composition as well. Simplicity, which can hit really deep!

‘‘DANISH NATIONAL BREEDS’’
National pride mirrored in 5 beautiful national breeds in Denmark. Even I wasn’t born in Denmark, after 13 years being part of this beautiful country, I feel very much danish, I became part of the culture, society and fantastic dog world. To work on these breeds was an honor and incredible experience.
We made little working team - Charlotte Høier was my right hand, great communicator, PR, influencer and support. I wouldn’t have made it without you, my friend :) Svend Løvenkjær as authorized all round judge was keeping eye, the breeds will follow standard and the proportions will be kept, my great teacher and mentor, you did great job here.
If you think, it was easy to capture the expressions of different breeds, keep the type and create the ideal representative out of several photos, videos and standard, I can tell you, it had been a challenge! In some moments I was doubting, if I am at all good enough, but there Charlotte was fantastic saying - of course you are, go on! And I took new paper and started again, until the perfect result was there.
Take a little time and look on the expression of the different breeds, look into their eyes, they are capturing the breed natural characters so strongly, open your eyes and let them talk to you - after few minutes, you will see more and more. Promise me to give the time, it’s worth it :)
